This module focuses on the ways staff can work alongside and engage fathers in early learning programs. It is designed for educators working with children from birth to age 5. 

The Presenter Notes offer an overview of the PowerPoint presentation, which also includes a Trainers Guide and related materials. The module can be used in a group training setting or an individualized professional development experience. Consider bringing children’s books for participants to review when they are thinking about how they represent men and fathers (Slide 28).

Learning activities provide a chance to explore key concepts shared in the presentation. Use the list of Suggested Resources to learn more about relationship-based approaches to father and family engagement.
