National Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Collaboration Office Locator

The National Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Collaboration Office, in collaboration and partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), has developed a web-based locator widget that allows anyone to find their nearest MSHS centers and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) i.e. Community Health Centers.

In response to the Improving Head Start for School Readiness Act of 2007 (Public Law 110-134), the Office of Head Start is holding one-day Tribal Consultation sessions with the leadership of Tribal Governments operating Head Start (including Early Head Start) programs.

These programs are embodied in 22 federal laws put in place to protect employees from retaliation for reporting workplace violations such as injuries, safety concerns, or other protected activity. Also, learrn about section 11(c) of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act. This section prohibits employer discrimination when employees report suspected improper or illegal government activities in the workplace.
