Transition experiences matter. When efforts are taken to foster positive and effective transitions to kindergarten, children and families experience gains that reach far beyond the kindergarten classroom. Hosting and planning a transition-to-kindergarten summit brings everybody involved in the process together to consider the importance of this transition.
